BCR
Berta Rodrigues, known as BCR, was born in Lisbon in 1942. Having lived in Africa and travelled extensively across the globe, art and its many platforms of expression have always interested her. Of all the mediums, painting and printmaking captivated her imagination the most. The juxtaposition of the past and present often feature in her work, which boasts a wide range of textures and techniques. She currently lives and works in the south of Portugal.
